Summertime

Welcome to Noteworthy, the Jamestown Concert Association's blog.  I will be using this space to provide more information about the artists that are scheduled for the season and about what's happening with the Concert Association.  I hope that you find this blog both useful and informative - be sure to stop by often to check for new content. 

It's summertime and the Jamestown Concert Association is on hiatus, but that doesn't mean that you are out of options for music this summer.  Chautauqua Institute has a wide variety of music options available, from Opera to Popular Entertainment.  Check out their Arts and Entertainment page to see what is available.

This Sunday, 2 July 2017 is a free admission day to the Institute.  There will be lots of things happening. 

• 11:00 am - Art in the Park, a craft show with artists from all over. 
• There will also be music at the Bell Tower - Sue Tillotson, among others will be playing.  
• 2:30 pm The Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra is presenting a "Special Arts Matinee: Amphitheater Celebration" at the new Amphitheater.
• The day concludes with a Sacred Song Service.
